These Terms & Conditions govern your use of iderfurniture.co.uk and purchases from Ider Furniture, operated by Furniture Tree Ltd.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not access or use our services.
1. Online Store Terms
- By using our website, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or that you have obtained consent from a legal guardian.
- You may not use our services for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, including the infringement of intellectual property rights.
- Any attempt to transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code will result in immediate termination of services.
2. General Conditions
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason.
- Non-card information may be transmitted unencrypted across networks. Card payments are always encrypted.
- You agree not to reproduce, resell, or exploit any part of our services without written permission.
3. Information Accuracy
- While we aim for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, reliable, or up to date.
- Historical content may be provided for reference only. We are not obligated to update this information.
4. Prices & Modifications
- Prices may change without notice.
- Discounts are capped at 15% of the product price unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We may modify or discontinue products or services at any time without liability.
5. Products
- Images are for illustration only. Colours and textures may vary in reality. Customers are encouraged to visit our showroom for samples.
- As many products are handmade, sizes and finishes are approximate.
- Availability is subject to stock. We will contact you if an item is unavailable.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products without notice.
6. Orders & Delivery
- In-stock items: typically delivered within 5–7 working days.
- Made-to-order & bespoke items: typically 7–9 weeks. Customers must accept delivery within 14 days of arrival. If delivery is delayed by customer choice, a storage fee may apply based on item size and order value.
- Delivery & installation charges apply unless otherwise agreed, and are clearly shown on invoices.
- Once a delivery is booked, 48 hours' notice is required to reschedule. Short-notice cancellations will incur a fee of £65–£195, depending on address complexity and notice period.
- A time slot will be given 2 days before the delivery day. If a delivery is missed, it can be rescheduled with a delivery fee. We reserve the right to change the time slot in such cases and will inform you immediately.
- We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders at any stage. Cancelled orders will be refunded within 48 hours.
- Full delivery information is available on our website.
7. Payments
- We accept VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and cash (in-store only). No surcharge applies.
- A deposit or full payment is required to place an order. Deposits on made-to-order and bespoke items are non-refundable, unless delivery exceeds 15 weeks.
- Finance options may be available via third parties. Terms will be provided before any agreement.
- The remaining balance (including any storage charges) must be paid 48 hours before delivery. Failure to pay may delay delivery or cancel the order.
- Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method.
8. Delivery Policy
- Free delivery & installation is provided on orders over £750 within 55 miles of our store.
- Delivery includes placement and optional assembly (if purchased). Packaging removal is the customer's responsibility unless otherwise arranged.
- Customers must ensure safe access to the property and adequate space for the furniture. Non-fit issues due to limited access or incorrect measurements do not entitle customers to returns on made-to-order or bespoke goods.
- Confirmed delivery dates may only be changed with 48 hours' notice. Failure to provide access may incur additional delivery charges.
- Delivery dates may occasionally change due to unforeseen circumstances. Customers are advised not to dispose of old furniture until delivery is confirmed.
9. Warranty
- All goods carry a 2-year warranty against faulty materials or workmanship.
- Sofa frames and bed structures carry a 5-year warranty.
- The warranty excludes normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or failure to follow care instructions.
- The warranty is void if the furniture is dismantled, altered, or relocated by customers or third parties.
- The warranty does not cover fabric, leather, or cushion fillings beyond normal wear.
10. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds
- In-stock items can be returned within 14 days of delivery if in original packaging and condition.
- Customers are responsible for returning items or arranging collection. Collection is charged at £95 per item within 55 miles of our showroom; rates vary for greater distances or more complex collections.
- Refunds may be reduced if items are damaged, dirty, or not in their original packaging.
- Made-to-order and bespoke products are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless they are faulty or cannot be delivered within 15 weeks.
- Mattresses that have been unsealed cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless faulty.
- Refunds are processed within 14 days of the approved return, using the original payment method.
- We understand that circumstances may change; please contact us to discuss your options.
11. Personal Information
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Non-Paid Orders
If an invoice balance remains unpaid, we may refer the debt to a collection agency, and you may be liable for additional charges and interest.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Furniture Tree Ltd.
14. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England & Wales.
15. Changes to Terms
We may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance.
